General information

NGC6694 is the open cluster at magnitude 8 that is placed in Scutum constellation and has apparent size of 15 angular minutes.
Because of low brightness and large angular size, cluster is available for observations through a 5-inch telescope.

Information for observations

Tonight, 2024-04-28, cluster NGC6694 will rise at east at 23:15 and will be observable until fading from view as dawn breaks. This time (04:52) the object will be placed at south. Maximum elevation, 41° above horizon, will be reached at 04:45, when cluster will be placed at south.
