Messier : Dumbbell Nebula (Messier M27)

General information

NGC6853 is the planetary nebula at magnitude 7 that is placed in Vulpecula constellation and has apparent size of 2 angular minutes.
Because of low brightness and large angular size, nebula is available for observations through a 5-inch telescope.

Tonight, 2024-06-28, nebula NGC6853 will be visible all night. At 23:08 the object will be placed at east, 50° above your horizon, and will be observable until around 04:05 when fade from view as dawn breaks southwest. Maximum elevation, 73° above horizon, will be reached at 01:58, when nebula will be placed at south.
