NGC1952 is the supernova remnant at magnitude 8 that is placed in Taurus constellation and has apparent size of 7 angular minutes.
Because of low brightness and large angular size, supernova remnant is available for observations through a 5-inch telescope.

2024-04-28 supernova remnant NGC1952 will become observable at west as the dusk sky fades, above your horizon, at 22:06. At this time, the object will be at its highest elevation. At 22:55 the object will sink below the horizon at northwest.
