NGC : NGC2546

General information

NGC2546 is the open cluster at magnitude 6 that is placed in Puppis constellation and has apparent size of 41 angular minute.
Because of low brightness and large angular size, cluster is available for observations through a 5-inch telescope.

Information for observations

2024-04-19 cluster NGC2546 will become observable at southwest as the dusk sky fades, 2° above your horizon, at 21:53. At this time, the object will be at its highest elevation. At 22:16 the object will sink below the horizon at southwest.
