General information

NGC6809 is the globular cluster globular cluster at magnitude 6 that is placed in Sagittarius constellation and has apparent size of 19 angular minutes.
Because of low brightness and large angular size, is available for observations through a 5-inch telescope.

Tonight, 2024-04-20, NGC6809 will rise at southeast at 02:03 and will be observable until fading from view as dawn breaks. This time (05:06) the object will be placed at south. Maximum elevation, 19° above horizon, will be reached at 05:05, when will be placed at south.
