Eastern Veil (NGC6992) Observation Details

NGC6992 Daily Motion
NGC6992 will rise before twilight begins, at 19:22, and will reach 29° elevation by the time twilight commences at 22:16. It will reach its transit at 82° by 03:26 and gradually fade away as the night ends at 04:57, maintaining an elevation of around 70°.NGC6992 will be visible until January, 19, when it will move too close to the Sun. During this time, its proximity to the Sun will cause it to disappear from the night sky, making it unobservable for a while.
