Betelgeuse - Red Supergiant Star

Betelgeuse is the second-brightest star in the constellation Orion and the tenth-brightest star in the night sky. It is a red supergiant star located about 642 light-years away from Earth.

Betelgeuse has an apparent magnitude of 0.50 and is one of the largest and most luminous stars visible to the naked eye. It is expected to end its life in a supernova explosion.
