Sunspot AR 4479 is a large, magnetically complex active region currently visible on the Sun’s surface. It contains 16 visible spots and spans an area of 340 millionths of the solar hemisphere. This region has produced 2 C-class flares, 44 M-class flares, 1 X-class flare so far and currently shows a 0% probability of C-class, 0% of M-class, and 0% of X-class flares.
