How to find NGC0419 from Achernar

NGC0419 is below the horizon at the selected time. No suitable observing time was found during the next two nights.

Achernar

Center Achernar in the finder or a low-power eyepiece before following the field stars.

From Achernar, move about 1° toward the south until you reach HYG 7387.0.

From HYG 7387.0, move about 6.3° toward the south until you reach HYG 6631.0.

From HYG 6631.0, move about 4.6° toward the south until you reach HYG 5896.0.

From HYG 5896.0, move about 5.7° toward the south until you reach HYG 4291.0.

From HYG 4291.0, move about 1.7° toward the northeast until you reach NGC0419. This is the target field.
