How to find NGC1511 from Achernar

Follow the route from one recognizable star to the next until you reach NGC1511.

NGC1511 is below the horizon at the selected time. No suitable observing time was found during the next two nights.

Achernar

Center Achernar in the finder or a low-power eyepiece before following the field stars.

From Achernar, move about 19° toward the southeast until you reach NGC1511. This is the target field.
