How to find NGC1758 using Taurus

Begin with Taurus, then follow the reference stars toward NGC1758.

Identify Elnath in or near Taurus; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Elnath, move about 6° toward the southwest until you reach HYG 23900.0.

From HYG 23900.0, move about 0.9° toward the southwest until you reach NGC1758. This is the target field.
