How to find NGC2493 using Gemini

Identify Castor in or near Gemini; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Castor, move about 2.9° toward the north until you reach Jishui.

From Jishui, move about 5.1° toward the north until you reach HYG 37789.0.

From HYG 37789.0, move about 3° toward the east until you reach NGC2493. This is the target field.
