From Spica, move about 4.3° toward the west until you reach HYG 64078.0.

From HYG 64078.0, move about 3.5° toward the west until you reach HYG 62985.0.

From HYG 62985.0, move about 1.6° toward the northwest until you reach NGC4699. This is the target field.
