Follow the route from one recognizable star to the next until you reach NGC5168.

NGC5168 is below the horizon at the selected time. No suitable observing time was found during the next two nights.

Hadar

Center Hadar in the finder or a low-power eyepiece before following the field stars.

From Hadar, move about 3.5° toward the southwest until you reach HYG 66438.0.

From HYG 66438.0, move about 1.1° toward the northwest until you reach NGC5168. This is the target field.
