How to find NGC5597 using Leo

Identify Spica in or near Leo; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Spica, move about 5.2° toward the east until you reach HYG 67172.0.

From HYG 67172.0, move about 5.4° toward the east until you reach HYG 68937.0.

From HYG 68937.0, move about 4.6° toward the southeast until you reach HYG 70379.0.

From HYG 70379.0, move about 0.7° toward the south until you reach NGC5597. This is the target field.
