How to find NGC5728 using Scorpius

Recognize the characteristic star pattern of Scorpius before following the route.

Identify Dschubba in or near Scorpius; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Dschubba, move about 5.4° toward the west until you reach HYG 76569.0.

From HYG 76569.0, move about 6.2° toward the west until you reach HYG 74392.0.

From HYG 74392.0, move about 6.3° toward the northwest until you reach Zubenelgenubi.

From Zubenelgenubi, move about 2.4° toward the southwest until you reach NGC5728. This is the target field.
