How to find NGC6025 using Scorpius

NGC6025 is below the horizon at the selected time. No suitable observing time was found during the next two nights.

Begin with Scorpius, then follow the reference stars toward NGC6025.

Recognize the characteristic star pattern of Scorpius before following the route.

Identify Atria in or near Scorpius; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Atria, move about 6.3° toward the northwest until you reach HYG 79664.0.

From HYG 79664.0, move about 0.9° toward the northwest until you reach HYG 79208.0.

From HYG 79208.0, move about 2.7° toward the north until you reach NGC6025. This is the target field.
