How to find NGC6259 using Scorpius

Begin with Scorpius, then follow the reference stars toward NGC6259.

Identify Sargas in or near Scorpius; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Sargas, move about 4.6° toward the west until you reach HYG 84143.0.

From HYG 84143.0, move about 2.5° toward the southwest until you reach NGC6259. This is the target field.
