How to find NGC6469 using Scorpius

Identify Sabik in or near Scorpius; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Sabik, move about 3.1° toward the southeast until you reach HYG 84792.0.

From HYG 84792.0, move about 6.8° toward the southeast until you reach HYG 86736.0.

From HYG 86736.0, move about 2.3° toward the east until you reach NGC6469. This is the target field.
