From HYG 89826.0, move about 4.8° toward the southwest until you reach HYG 88636.0.

From HYG 88636.0, move about 2.6° toward the southwest until you reach HYG 87998.0.

From HYG 87998.0, move about 1.3° toward the west until you reach NGC6487. This is the target field.
