How to find NGC6724 using Cygnus

Begin with Cygnus, then follow the reference stars toward NGC6724.

Identify Altair in or near Cygnus; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Altair, move about 7° toward the west until you reach HYG 95253.0.

From HYG 95253.0, move about 4.1° toward the west until you reach HYG 93867.0.

From HYG 93867.0, move about 2.6° toward the west until you reach NGC6724. This is the target field.
