How to find NGC6738 using Cygnus

Identify Altair in or near Cygnus; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Altair, move about 7° toward the west until you reach HYG 95253.0.

From HYG 95253.0, move about 4.1° toward the west until you reach HYG 93867.0.

From HYG 93867.0, move about 1.5° toward the west until you reach NGC6738. This is the target field.
