How to find NGC6820 using Cygnus

Begin with Cygnus, then follow the reference stars toward NGC6820.

Identify Altair in or near Cygnus; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Altair, move about 2.1° toward the northwest until you reach Tarazed.

From Tarazed, move about 7° toward the north until you reach HYG 96837.0.

From HYG 96837.0, move about 5° toward the north until you reach HYG 96856.0.

From HYG 96856.0, move about 0.7° toward the northeast until you reach NGC6820. This is the target field.
