How to find NGC7045 using Pegasus

Follow the route from one recognizable star to the next until you reach NGC7045.

NGC7045 is 54° above the horizon toward the southeast.

Begin with Pegasus, then follow the reference stars toward NGC7045.

Recognize the characteristic star pattern of Pegasus before following the route.

Identify Enif in or near Pegasus; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Enif, move about 6.1° toward the southwest until you reach HYG 105570.0.

From HYG 105570.0, move about 2.4° toward the southwest until you reach Kitalpha.

From Kitalpha, move about 0.8° toward the south until you reach NGC7045. This is the target field.
