How to find NGC0150 using Pegasus

This guide uses bright stars first, then narrows the field for a telescope or binocular finder. Use Pegasus as the main sky landmark.

Follow the route from one recognizable star to the next until you reach NGC0150.

NGC0150 is 22° above the horizon toward the southeast.

Begin with Pegasus, then follow the reference stars toward NGC0150.

Recognize the characteristic star pattern of Pegasus before following the route.

Identify Diphda in or near Pegasus; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Diphda, move about 5.9° toward the south until you reach HYG 3185.0.

From HYG 3185.0, move about 1.4° toward the south until you reach HYG 3056.0.

From HYG 3056.0, move about 2.9° toward the south until you reach NGC0150. This is the target field.
