How to find NGC0288 using Pegasus

Follow the route from one recognizable star to the next until you reach NGC0288.

NGC0288 is 17° above the horizon toward the southeast.

Begin with Pegasus, then follow the reference stars toward NGC0288.

Recognize the characteristic star pattern of Pegasus before following the route.

Identify Diphda in or near Pegasus; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Diphda, move about 6.4° toward the south until you reach HYG 4104.0.

From HYG 4104.0, move about 2.6° toward the south until you reach NGC0288. This is the target field.
