How to find NGC1615 using Taurus

Begin with Taurus, then follow the reference stars toward NGC1615.

Identify Aldebaran in or near Taurus; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Aldebaran, move about 3.4° toward the north until you reach HYG 21408.0.

From HYG 21408.0, move about 0.1° toward the northeast until you reach NGC1615. This is the target field.
