How to find NGC1744 using Orion

From Rigel, move about 4.8° toward the south until you reach HYG 24327.0.

From HYG 24327.0, move about 3.3° toward the south until you reach HYG 24305.0.

From HYG 24305.0, move about 6.4° toward the south until you reach HYG 23685.0.

From HYG 23685.0, move about 2° toward the south until you reach HYG 23554.0.

From HYG 23554.0, move about 1.9° toward the southwest until you reach NGC1744. This is the target field.
