From Alphard, move about 6.4° toward the southwest until you reach HYG 45559.0.

From HYG 45559.0, move about 5.3° toward the south until you reach HYG 45158.0.

From HYG 45158.0, move about 3.4° toward the south until you reach HYG 45037.0.

From HYG 45037.0, move about 1.1° toward the southeast until you reach NGC2784. This is the target field.
