How to find NGC2835 using Leo

Begin with Leo, then follow the reference stars toward NGC2835.

Recognize the characteristic star pattern of Leo before following the route.

Identify Alphard in or near Leo; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Alphard, move about 6.4° toward the southwest until you reach HYG 45559.0.

From HYG 45559.0, move about 5.3° toward the south until you reach HYG 45158.0.

From HYG 45158.0, move about 2.9° toward the southeast until you reach NGC2835. This is the target field.
