How to find NGC2847 using Leo

Identify Alphard in or near Leo; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Alphard, move about 6.7° toward the south until you reach HYG 45975.0.

From HYG 45975.0, move about 1.4° toward the southwest until you reach NGC2847. This is the target field.
