How to find NGC6810 using Sagittarius

Begin with Sagittarius, then follow the reference stars toward NGC6810.

Recognize the characteristic star pattern of Sagittarius before following the route.

Identify Peacock in or near Sagittarius; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Peacock, move about 4.4° toward the southwest until you reach HYG 98174.0.

From HYG 98174.0, move about 1.8° toward the west until you reach NGC6810. This is the target field.
