How to find NGC2483 using Orion

NGC2483 is 13° above the horizon toward the southeast.

Begin with Orion, then follow the reference stars toward NGC2483.

Recognize the characteristic star pattern of Orion before following the route.

Identify Aludra in or near Orion; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Aludra, move about 4.3° toward the east until you reach HYG 37677.0.

From HYG 37677.0, move about 2.8° toward the east until you reach NGC2483. This is the target field.
