How to find NGC2520 using Orion

Follow the route from one recognizable star to the next until you reach NGC2520.

Begin with Orion, then follow the reference stars toward NGC2520.

Identify Aludra in or near Orion; the chart shows its position relative to the guide.

From Aludra, move about 6.8° toward the east until you reach HYG 38615.0.

From HYG 38615.0, move about 2.3° toward the east until you reach NGC2520. This is the target field.
